The Coalesce Space

This is the space I created for my self devised project with the aim to create a communal green space in cities which brings retirees together involving gardening, fun events and just a generally positive social environment to escape from the everyday bustle. The space is inspired architecturally by post-war brutalism combining pockets of green spaces to brighten up the concrete interior. There is a range of different rooms each serving a different purpose. The roof garden is away from the city and solves the issue of having minimal access to green space. The main room will e a social environment with a cafe to which people can sell their produce for money or get a bite to eat. There will also be other event based rooms such as the conservatory, the cinema and the lounge which are free to access through membership sign up or ticket.
